Help! My brass bead sight broke and is stuck!!!
I have a basic Mossberg 500 series pump... Over time, the little brass bead basically broke off (or wore off). It's basically little more than flush with the barrel, so there is nothing to "grab" onto and twist it out soni can screw a new site into the hole...
Anyone ever had this issue and/or have a solution that I may use to mget what's basically the threading free again?!
I appreciate it guys.

A really small E-Z Out...
Best bet is to take it to a gunsmith. It might cost you 20 or so bucks, but he'd likely reinstall a new bead.

I know this doesn't sound like the easy answer, but drilling the center of the screw out and then using dental picks and the likes to crush the exterior of the screw is probably the best way to do this without messing up the threading.
Other than that, drilling and retapping the threads and replacing the front sight with a larger one.

I had a similar problem with my my shotgun before. I ended up taking it to a local gunsmith. It took him all of 10 minutes to drill it out, replace the bead, and have me out of the door. It was a $20 fix.

Thanks for all the input guys, yea, I am going to take it to the gunsmith. It doesn't seem worth the hassle to do anything else.
