it looks like a Turkish shotgun that American Rifleman did a review on a few months back..seemed to function well enough. For that price though...I dunno, I'd be more inclined to stick with a Mossy or Remington.
The Turks have a history of building fine shotguns though.

I looked at one before. It has a spring assist for the pump action. Nifty idea. But for the price I too would probably just stick with an American Mossy or Remmy.

This thread didn't last very long...I've been kinda considering one of these also.
I already have a Remington...just have some free space in my gun cabinet.

actually this one doesnt. you are thinking of the tristar that academy has and looks alot like this. this escort feels a bit more sturdy.

My only problem with it is parts availability. 870's and 500's have a vast amount of options available. They can be multi use shotguns. And just about every gun ownwer in America who owns shotguns probably has one of the 2 if not both in their collection.

That's a beautiful weapon imo and to be honest it seems to have everything one might need so not really alot to have to add to it although looks like it might not take a side saddle. + 1 bud nice find. As for the price the cheapest find for a Mossberg here is $279 and for an 870 it's $319 both the basic 18 1/2 inch full stock no frills variety. To have all that stuff on it for $289 is a good deal at least here. I paid $199 for my clone with only the GRs on it otherwise no frills and a Maverick here runs $230 to give you an idea of the beater prices. Did you try and google it?

I know this thread is a little old, but I'm seeing more of these ESCORTS on the market.
I found one of these at my LGS, I may get one, it feels more comfortable (to me) than MOSSBERG OR REMINGTON....and it definitely felt "sturdier" and more substantial than the top 2.
Made in TURKEY, but excellent reviews by owners! You really can't say MOSSBERG AND REMINGTON (especially recent models) are trouble free......
Shop owner said he bought one 6 months ago, fired at least 600 rounds thru it without a hiccup! I'm seriously thinking about this one, and it LOOKS AWESOME!
