Howdy all, just a quick note. As I'm sure most of you have noticed we have re-arranged the forum template a bit and added a couple more sub-forums. As we continue to grow the mods and I will continue to try and keep it organized around here. Thanks!

The Political View sub-forum has been reopened. There have been some changes in the rules and membership qualifications, as outlined here:
1. Members no longer request membership to the PV group. This is applied automatically to anyone with 250 or more posts.
2. Members wishing to be removed from the PV group can PM myself or another moderator to request that.
3. All members posting in the PV area are advised to obey the CoC very closely. Moderation of this area will be strict and continual.
Basically, be nice to one another, follow the Golden Rule, and everyone will stay happy.
Failure to conduct one's self according to the rules will result in the following disciplinary actions.
Minor violations:
1. First violation is one week out of the PV.
2. Violation two results in one week out of the whole board.
3. Violation three results in one month out of the board with a $20 fee to reinstate PV access (but not general forum access).
4. A fourth violation will result in a permanent ban from board membership.
Major Violations:
1. First offense, one month vacation from the board.
2. Second offense, permanent removal from board membership.
Very serious violations may result in imediate permanent ban if appropriate. Examples would include promoting illegal activity, making threats against other members, and other extremely inappropriate conduct.
The moderators will determine if a violation is minor or major. The primary difference will be based on conduct. Being unrulling or impolite will be seen as minor, but being overtly hostile, insulting, or beligerant major--as would refusing to comply with moderator instructions. Frenchy will be the moderator for the PV, and he is quite fair in his judgements. Be kind to him as he is being very generous in offering to take on this demanding task.
Essentially, be polite, be respectful of others, and keep your cool. Everyone would agree this is good advice on or off the board.
