Oregon CHL Class Saturday, Jan 10th(Clatskanie, OR)
The Clatskanie Rifle & Pistol Club will hold an Intro to Oregon Concealed Carry Class on Saturday, January 10th, 2009 from 9AM-3PM. This class is hands-on, live-fire and meets the training requirements set forth in the Oregon Revised Statues for Oregon Concealed Handgun License applicants. Both the classroom and range sessions are taught by NRA-certified instructors.

Cost to attend this training is $60; CRPC member rate is $40. Prepayment and pre-registration is required to reserve a seat.

Private lessons are also available at a different fee schedule.

Looks like it is more than required by Oregon with a 6 hour class and live fire. However for the price, that sounds like a good deal. When I did mine it was $40 and only 3 hours without live fire, but apparently met the minimums. That is all I was after being experienced shooter already. I would probably recommend one like this to anyone new to the gun scene though.
