Ok, I'd like to announce a San Antonio / Central TX get together, we'll meet up for a quick bite to eat and then head out to the range. *Weather permitting*

Date: March 22nd
Time: Noon
Place: Potranco and Loop 1604
Restaurant: Bill Miller's Barbecue
Address: 410 W Loop 1604 N San Antonio, TX 78251

A Note from Bearcreek on the Bill Miller's parking lot:
Ok this is how it is laid out.. try to picture a shopping center with some frontage stores at the roadside. These frontage stores are : Bill Miller, a couple of banks a Whataburger and a Taco Cabana. You can access the shopping center from Potranco or 1604.. all frontage road parking lots have throughways so after eating you can get to shopping center or vise versa... except Bill Miller's BBQ.. It is located near the shopping center but not actually attached to it in any way.. it has only 1 entrance/exit located on Potranco.. near the stop light.. the entrance is about where the "left turn only" lane for the red light begins...

I welcome anyone in the central Texas area to come out and have some fun, if you'd like to participate I ask that you

That's a 3-day weekend for me. I'll check with my gf if she's interested in a roadtrip. We're 4.5 hrs away but could always do the Riverwalk thing as part of the trip.

What's the range like? Anything we should know? I see they charge per target, can we bring our own? Are they real sticklers for the rules?

I've been there quite a few times I really like it, the pistol range is real easy to use and I like the fact that you can't walk out past the firing line you just simply let the target holder roll back to the line and swap out your target. They are not extremely strict, but just to be sure of their stance on this matter I have e-mailed the owner and will post their response on this thread as soon as I get a reply.
