Hey Guys.... Sorry I couldnt make it out there I was told if I came in early at work that I would get off early enough to haul @$$ over there and meet up with you guys but I ended up not getting off til 6....when my manager told me my heart broke a lil... Hope you guys had a great time and cant wait to see how it went and hopefully get to the next one

I just want to give a little THANKS!! to everyone that showed up. Taco Malo will be posting pics with a range report. We had roughly 12 in attendance, so we all got to take home a bit of stuff. Check out Range Report area for Taco Malo's post to follow-up this event!!!

Thanks to Taco Malo and Bearcreek for getting this thing going. My gf and I drove from Fort Worth (about 4.5 hrs away) and spend Friday night at Coyote Ugly on the Riverwalk. It's not quite like the movie but it was fun. We had lunch at Mamacita's on I-10 and that was good. You can't beat San Antonio TX for Mexican food! We met up with the group at Bill Millers and got to know everyone. After an hour or so we went to the range and had our own bay. We had a little shooting competition then it was just free time to shoot on your own. After that we had an early dinner at Dick's Last Resort on the Riverwalk then headed home. It was great to meet folks from XDTalk and I'm looking forward to the next one! Here are pics of my "loot".

By the way, that hat pin of the XD is badass! Thank you Springfield Armory!!!

Big thanks to Springfield Armory for all their support it just reinforced my belief that they are a great company that really knows how to treat their customers right!!!

Just so that everyone knows, we had a best 3-shot group, tightest double-tap, farthest traveled, the person that was 3+2=5 and they put 7 or 8 holes in their target... ummm not sure why we gave out the other prizes, as well as we had 2 raffles. So the winners are:
Farthest traveled- Propellerhead (Springfiled Hat) and his G/F(XD Sticker)
Tightest 3 shot group- Propellerhead (XD T-Shirt)
Tightest double-tap- Bearcreek (Springfield T-Shirt)
The young man in the XD hat actually got the T-shirt for youngest shooter with greatest potential. The hat was for his dad.. a TX DPS officer that shoots a Sig as we show him support for the work he does every day.
The person that can't count--ChrisIVC (Springfield Tshirt) Adam Brock(Springfield Tshirt for the heck of it)
Can't remember who got the travel mug and the towel--- I think those were raffled picks

Adam Brock won a raffle pick and Lisa( I believe is her name) won the other raffle pick.

Some one correct me if I messed up any of these awards... I slept since yesterday
