I wasn't up early today, I missed your post by :45 mins!!!!
It was a beautiful day up there and surprisingly not crowded. I made sure to pick up all my brass and shot shells. I wish everyone would do that. If it's nice over thanksgiving weekend I'll probably be going up if anyone is interested. Outdoors is the only place I can rip rounds thru my 870.....  I'll bring my XD9sc and my Neos .22

I got a late start heading to the range.. didn't get there till about 1630 at the firing line. Surprisingly crowded for a sunday night.

I ended up with a touch of the flu over the weekend. No work today and maybe not much tomorrow.
On subject: I find Left Hand Canyon a little unsettling. I would like to try the range by Lyons if I could ever find the thing!

Hi folks,
I'm new to Colorado, new to the forum, and finally live in a state with pro-gun laws (lived in Chicago and Massachusetts - talk about restrictive laws). I've been to Silver Bullet and Green Mountain. I agree that Green Mountain is a real nice range. Silver Bullet is closest to me. Where/what is Left Hand Canyon? Are there any good outdoor public ranges? Private ones? Thanks. BTW... got my sights on a XD40SC - may be buying one this week! |
