The McDonald's Sportsmen Club/Airport Area Speed Shooters are hosting the 2007 Western PA Sectional match this year.
Location: McDonald Sportsmen Club, McDonald, PA (Just west of Pittsburgh, PA) Club Website: http://www.mcdonaldsportsmen.com Dates: October 13-14 Format: 7 Stages, half day shooting. Round Count: 180+ Match Fee: $40.00 ($65.00 for registration after Sept 1st) USPSA Level II Match For any specific questions related to the match or hotels, etc. if you will be staying over night please contact Mike at mjbine@comcast.net or Dave at Fast38super@yahoo.com Download PDF version of match app here Directions: Anyone coming from out of town or that just isn't familiar with how to get to the club the link below is to a Google Map that shows the club. If you right-click on the blue marker at the club entrance that is on Noblestown Road it will give you the option to get directions to that point. I added a green arrow to show the location of the pistol bays; basically once you go through the club gates you just stay to the right and the bays are on the hill to your right. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...&t=h&z=16&om=1 This should be a real fun/challenging match to shoot; the folks putting on the match have been involved in running major matches for many years. This is the first year that I've been involved with them and it's been a great year so far. We had a 6 stage match this past Sunday that brought out nearly 100 shooter. The club is excellent as well with all new pistol bays and plenty of parking; hope to see some of the XD'ers at the match.
