I shot fairly well I think, I didn't see where I placed gonna have to wait till the scores get posted on the USPSA website. Probably be Thursday.

One stage started with the gun on a table, Unloaded hammer down, Mags in pouches. Four shooting positions, position 1, 2 papers, 4 steel plates various distances, Position 2 was 3 poppers strong hand with no shoots behind them, position 3 was 3 poppers weak hand and no shoots behind them, And position 4 was same as position 1. I scored Alpha's on the paper and had to shoot at one of the poppers twice weak hand but somehow missed the no shoot. Not sure of my time though, It wasn't great but it was good.

The other stages went well, My wife usually goes and takes pics but she was coming off her 3rd 13 hour shift and went home and crashed.

We had 20 something shooters out there, And it was HOT. We had a 14 year old out there this was his second match and he did really well, Shooting a Kimber 1911 .45. He handled it well and you can tell he was haveing a great time.

Crazy, at the end of my work week (3rd consecutive 13 hour shift at primary job)... I'm usually wide awake and have trouble sleeping.

Glad to hear how you shot. What'd you use? You mentioned hammer...

I use my XD, But most of the pistols out there Sunday were of the 1911 type, Not sure why they made a point of hammer down. You still had to rack the slide once you put your mag in. There were no so called "Barney round" on that stage.
