Ugh! I'm dying over here!!! The wait is killing me...

At least there's a gun show in Philthydelphia this weekend to break up the long wait....

where is the gun show at? how about some details.

dave, i was through you're area last week. took 30 east to 41 to 1 on down through maryland across the chesapeake bay bridge/tunnel to virginia beach.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

if i bring my own 9mm ammo, would anyone allow my wife to fire a few rounds to get a feel for what she might like to get herself for a self defense piece? i know dave volunteered an XD9sc, if that offer is still out there, we'll appreciate it. if you prefer to PM me, that's fine, just let me know.

jtkratzer:

The gun show is at the Philadelphia Army National Guard Armory – 2700 Southampton Rd (at Route 1) in Phila PA on Sat 9-5 and Sun 9-3. Admission is $7 and parking is free. My fiancee and I are planning on going on Saturday (most of the day). I've been to that one before, and it's awesome. This'll be my 2nd gun show.

Well, you were almost to my area. You should have stayed on 41 and headed over towards Wilmington instead of getting on 1. Oh, well. Maybe next time!

Of course my offer still stands. I'll actually have both my XD-9 subbie AND XD-9 service along. She's welcome to try them both. My fiancee will be shooting her XD-9 subbie as well (her's is more colorful than mine), and she might bring her 32 revolver along just for the heck of it.

I'm bringing:

about 1500 rnds of .22lr (but only because I didn't repackage the bricks) and 100 rnds of 9mm. That's it. I plan on getting some quality time in w/ my Savage, since I haven't used it yet on a range (long story - found elsewhere on the forum).

I will be bringing some of my printed targets that I designed (found on my website for download), as well as some re-worked AQT targets (also in pdf - but not on my site yet). I've printed a nice handful, and hope to print some more before next weekend. If someone wants to grab a few, I'll be more than happy to share. And feel free to download what's on my page - especially the correction targets for righties and lefties - so you can have something to punch holes into!

Go to http://home.comcast.net/~dave_in_delaware/GunStuff.htm and click on "Target Designs"
