TX State IDPA Match
Greetings all...
Just wanted to see who was heading down to Friendswood, TX for the State IDPA Match.... I hope to meet some folks from the forum here.... I'll be wearing an OD Green Sportsman's Warehouse shirt, 5.11 vest, & OD Sportsman's Warehouse Hat... until then...

Nice meeting you at the match although I didn't formally introduce myself to you. I was one of the few Asian fellers you saw.
 I had the black Astros cap on with the 5.11 vest. It was an awesome match! I bailed out as soon as I finished my last two scenarios. I was done. I wasn't worried about the prizes.. Anyway check out www.txdpsa.com and sign up! |

I met Jason (aka "therooster") and a couple others... I just recently found out about the TX XD match stuff... WOW.. A whole mathc with nothing but XDs ..that sound like much fun... If any of you ever visit the Austin area let me know.. go out and have a few beers or sumthin' Wil out

I'll let you know next time I'm in Austin.
 There a few Austin TXDPSA members that make the drive down to Houston for the matches. I'm sure you could hitch a ride and split gas money. Right now the matches are every 4th Saturday of the month at Impact Zone.

How'd the match go??
I think i'll be in for the north texa match come July 15th. I've got to be in Austin the 14th and will drive up to that match.

I went and it was loads of fun. I didn't meet anyone from here though, I was in my own world. A world of double tapping no-shoots and collecting procedurals.
 I had the Red Ford Supercrew with the giant tan umbrella on the back facing the helicopter stage. Shade and cold drinks were definitely high priority. |
