2011 Pig Iron Classic

Course shooting - 10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Cost is $5.00 per run, (limited to 6 runs total) with the following events:
Autoloader, Revolver, Team (auto or revolver-shooter’s choice), Unlimited, and Women’s. Iron sights only, except for Unlimited. Loading limited to no more than 7 rounds in the gun at any time. Ear and eye protection and holsters are required.

CLASSES

The Pig Iron Classic will be divided into 2 classes; Class A and Class B

Class A; Bill Conrad, Dana Demers, Kevin Erickson, Ken Goldsworthy, Kevin Kemp, John Labadie, Bill Larson, Dave McGuire, Jim Mervyn, Jeff Paull, Tim Roth, Jeff Solka, Paul Schwenke, Ron Weger, Scott Gruenberg, Ryan Paull, Bob Weisenberger, John DePuydt, Tony Erickson, Lee Brown, Dave Maki, Steve Baker, Drew Ambrose, Joe Gendron

Class B; All other shooters will compete in class B until they finish first in a Class B event, then they will considered Class A the following year. All Classes will compete together in the Team event.

Trophies

Trophies will be given out for first through fifth in each class in the Autoloader and Revolver events, first through fifth in the Team event, and first through third in the Women’s and Unlimited events.

Penalties

A 2 second penalty will be assessed for every round over 7 that is loaded (except in Unlimited event).
A 5 second penalty will be assessed for accidental discharges.
A 2 second penalty will be assessed for engaging any stage before both feet are in each designated box and or stepping outside box before all targets are down.
Any shooter will be disqualified in a run for any unsafe act as determined by the range officer;
Automatic Disqualification for dropping a gun.
No cross draw or shoulder holsters permitted for the course.

All range officer decisions are final.
