BB, were you made in Texas? I grew up in Houston and left before the vast migration of yankee liberals.

I don't necessarily consider Kalifornistan to be the most liberal state in the country. I do...

I'm not a fan of 7 shot .357 Magnums so I wouldn't lose any sleep over walking away from a 686+.

I can atest to the underlug aiding in recoil control. Shooting the same handloads, my brothers 6"...

I would easily choose the Ruger SR9 over either. It's slimmer while being built stronger. No polygonal bore issues so you can shoot cast lead loads or the increasingly more popular poly-coated lead...

Well, you should be getting better velocity with the oversized plated than what Lyman shows for a JHP where they tested with a 4" test barrel, but your velocity increases are a bit surprising, even...

You can buy the LEE powder through expander die separately if you really want to use one of the LEE powder measures. Lyman makes a powder through expander die that will allow you to use powder...

WOW, this is a milestone! dglock creates a thread of his own. Congrats! LOL.

Just kidding, Don. I don't load .223 but I do load .308. I have the SPEER #11 that was published in the mid 80s, so...

JSG, every time I read about defense ammo where the Nyclad was included, they faired pretty well. Neither S&W nor Federal pushed them very hard. Blue Bullet's claims that there are no issues up to...

Yeah, thanks, buddy! Loaded some more today over the Max. charge of True Blue (6.2 grs.) for the LaserCast 124 gr. RN. My 6.0 gr. charge exactly replicated older Ramshot data for the LC 124 gr. RN...

Okay, Buddy, had to step out for a smoke, but hey, I'm down to 3 cigarillos per day or less!

Correct me if I'm wrong but when you said you got 1080 - 1100 FPS, that was with the 1.045" OACL fired...

JSG, I know you'll be careful. That's also about what I remembered for Bowenbuilts loads. Shame you can't load around the same OACL for your Witness.

You're gonna have to try those Blue Bullets....

Check the Cor-Bon website and see what the 165s are rated at. If they're not screamers, they're probably okay, but might not be the most accurate load you'll shoot due to the relatively short bullet...
