I've always wanted a IWB holster and specifically a crossbread but didn't want to put in all that $$. A couple of weeks ago I saw a thread on asking about old faithful holsters and their quality. I took a look at their site and saw that you could save some money by putting the holster together myself. So I jumped on it and this is what I got. I'm very happy with it and wear it all the time (in the house cause I live in communist IL)
Couldn't be happier!

This is my OWB setup for the full size XDM. The holster was custom made in the USA by Jon at PHLster (out of Philly). It features a 20 degree forward cant, adjustable belt loops, great retention, a lifetime warranty and looks killer in the OD Green color.............

Hey if you need a give away I can always give you a holster either XD 9, 40 or I a 1911EMP. I only got into making holster because they didn't offer a concealable holster for my 1911 EMP.
Thanks,
Staub

Yeah it's always good to save some money any way you can. Ammo isn't getting any cheaper.

I recently bought my first handgun...An XD40 4" and havent had much time shooting it..been out a couple of times and have only mangaged to get 4 clips through it(48 rounds)

When I bought the gun it was for carry(car and person) and being new to the handgun world and carrying I found myself buying a supertuck style IWB.

Its from Everyday Holsters and I have only worn it a few times but it has been comfortable each time...I did wear it around the house a few times empty to get the feel and to try and break it in. Then a few times around the house with the gun in it. I am now realizing the XD40 4" is a bit on the bigger side to be on my side with no coat or long shirt on so it finds its way back to the 4;30-5:30 position. We have gone on several outings now carrying and Its a bit odd the first few times but getting more used to it.

It was priced right for my first holster..around 40.00-45.00 shipped

I may be looking into a subcompact and another holster of similar style for more everyday carry.

The holster seems to be made of quality parts and thick leather, The cuts are a bit on the look of all handcut, but it adjustable for the cant and I am still working on the final position of it.

Hi Guys,

Here is a quick review and a few pictures of my set up. I use a N82 Tactical Hoster (Full Size Slim) for my Springfield 1911. I can honestly say that this is the most comfortable holster I have ever worn. I like the it uses leather and neoprene which makes it very lightweight and even more comfortable. It is very flexible so it seems to mold to your body whenever you change positions. There have been times where I have forgotten that I was wearing it. On the backside it has a layer of suede which I think helps to keep the holster in place and minimize and sliding it may do from your movement. Lastly, the holster utilizes a positive retention feature in which you have to give the gun a slight twist to release it. Overall, I am very satisfied with this holster and the company seems to be made up of nice people.
