XD talk.com forum has been a tremendous help in such a variety of ways. For myself, the biggest perk has been the ability to sift through the countless experiences of people who have a far superior knowledge base then the local gun store. This helps the gun owner or potential gun owner to make informed decisions on practically any subject related to guns or specifically an XD gun that one may own. You can save a bundle of money by looking at what has worked for someone and what hasn't. This applies to optics like lasers or sites, as well as holsters or modifications to the gun itself, like trigger pull, grips, barrels etc... Sometimes the topics get a little of the subject, but most people behave themselves and the moderators seem to keep it clean. Good Job XD talk. (Spudthegreater from Iowa.)
