Give them to me. I'll be happy to take them off your hands.

Well looks like I'm gonna run 50 +p HST's through the XD tomorrow. I'm setting on 150 more so better safe than sorry.

I have shot a ton of RA45TP (Ranger T Series +P) without an issue on my .45C. Unfortunately I have had no luck finding any of it lately so I was going to start using P45HST1 until I found this article. I don't trust the expansion of Gold Dots as too many articles have been written on its inconsistency on expansion.

Just tried 50 rounds of 230 gr gold dots with only 1 failure to feed. They seem to work a lot better (more pleasant to shoot too) in this gun, but obviously I'll need to shoot a lot more before I know for sure.

1 in 50 is too much. Have your gun examined by a gunsmith. Reliable ammo is failing to feed properly.

Also have your shooting watched by a qualified instructor to make certain that you aren't limpwristing the gun.

Nope, not limp wristing

FMJ thusfar (maybe 500 rounds?) has been 100% reliable

Federal HST JHP had 4-5 failures to feed in 50 rounds (the damage to the magazines occured during this time)

Gold Dot had 1 failure to feed in 50 rounds

I already contacted SA about replacing the magazines, I guess I can see if they'll look the gun over...

I'm not sure what could be going on here. My service will not choke on them. I caught a thread on here a while back talking about it and got a little worried and decided to burn up another 50 rounds as rapid as I could shoot em. Not one FTF or FTE, or feed problem. This is really tough with out seeing it happen to diagnose it.
