1st time shooting my XDM 4.5 9mm

Couldn't help myself, drove 30 miles out of the way on my way to work so I could shoot my gun. Since I rushed myself I don't think I took the time needed with it, but it shot great. Looks like I may be twisting a little when I pull the trigger and I'm a leffty so??? Not sure but here's the results of two clips shot at 10 yards.

P.S. I will be going to the range tomorrow so I can spend some quality time with my new XDM 4.5 9mm.

check the "pistol correction charts". . .it will help diagnose your shooting. they can be found online or all over this forum. . .just use the "search" function.

also, they are called magazines, not clips. Just helping with proper terminology

Nice shooting. You shot better than I did when I first got my xdm.

Congrats! I love my 9mm XDm 4.5 - by far my favorite handgun. My first shooting experience was similar, I found it "hard" to miss my target. :P
Such a great line of sight shooting gun, and the trigger is awesome (IMHO). I'm not a match shooter, but it's better, smoother, spongier than most any other gun I've tried or rented. ( I did like the M&P trigger too though. )

Anyway - see it's your second post - Welcome to the forums! Great bunch of Guys and Gals here! Everyone is really great here!

Thanks for the great compliments. Altough I think the gun deserves most(if not all) of the credit. Due to the Rain and the 100+ temps. I haven't got much trigger time, but I will be taking the pistol correction chart with me next time.
