Lots of Firsts Today, Springfield, .45, Compact
First trip to the range with my new XDm .45 3.8". This is my first .45 and compact and it was awesome. Fired a couple of boxes of Speer Lawman 230g FMJ and one box of Hornady CD JHP. No problems with either ammo. Still trying to find the right grip with the smaller mag, I'm sure it will come with more practice. Trigger is good, but I prefer my trigger on my Walther PPQ .40 (slightly better pull and reset) However the XDm is way easier to shoot as far as muzzle flip / recoil. I'm still new to handguns but I think I started with two great ones.

I figured the trigger will get better...as soon as I picked it up I went right to the range. With the PPQ, I had a week to dry fire.
