Looks pretty good to me. Seems like you might need an XD45 of your own!

I bought the XD45Tac 5" for a several reasons. 1) longer sight axis, 2) A little more weight out front reduces muzzle flip, 3) most ammo manufacturers use a 5" test barrel to measure ballistic characteristics so I know what I get from my weapon is very similar to their test measurements, 4) The weight and balance just feel good in my hand and I shoot it very well; I use it for 'bullseye' competition at my local gun club, 5) if I ever have to pull it out of the holster for SD or off the night stand for HD, I have to believe when seen from the wrong end, it would be psychologically intimidating to the BG.... .
I carry it everyday everywhere - it goes on my belt when my wallet and car keys go in my pocket and stays there until it is placed on the nightstand at night. Anyway, as I said above, I love my XD45Tac.

I love my XD 45 GAP Tac for similar reasons.
Hm. I wonder if I can switch my gun from a GAP to an ACP? Cause as much as I love shooting the GAP, when I shot it along side the ACP, the latter felt a little better.

I bought the xd .45 compact. I had a chance at the 5 in compact and passed on it still not sure if I made the right choice. I do know I love this one and it gives me the excuse to but the 5 inch. Either way you go you will love it. looking at your target it will be no problem getting back in to shooting. The only suggestion if you don't reload start you will be able to shoot 3x as much
