Talking My new XDm 9mm - shoots like CRAP!!!

Actually.... it shoots like a dream! What a gorgeous weapon - in every respect!

Here are the first twelve (12) rounds I ever fired from this new pistol - results were not too shabby, at 75ft from the target....

Can't really complain about this grouping from 75ft away, having never fired it before! Who knows, once I am more acclimated to this XDm, perhaps most rounds will land within the 2" yellow circle.

This weapon was a birthday gift to my daughter, and the girlfriend also love it, so I put the smallest backstrap on the grip. Still feels exceptionally good in your hands.

I can see where this is going.... time to drop some $$$ on 9mm bulk buy ammo!

Get enough people in here talking about "accuracy issues" of the XDm out the box, with that title, I thought you were going to be jumping in the pile of "it's not me.. it's the gun!" people lol.

Anyway, nice damn shooting at 75 yds! Glad you're happy with it. I shoot the exact same in USPSA competitions now, so I absolutely am with mine as well

Yeah, I was about to say that my wife shoots hers just fine!

She shot my XDM Match 5.25 .45 ACP and went out and bought the 9mm.

I'm kinda the opposite. I've always been a CZ guy for competition. My wife decided she wants to shoot USPSA this year & got a 5.25 in 9mm. I shot it a little, sighting it in for competition loads. Two weeks later, MY 5.25 in .40 was arriving. I love that thing, I can consistently rip ragged holes in the 2in ring at any range up to 25yrds with it...and I haven't even upgraded the trigger yet!

Yes, 75 feet, not yards. If that grouping was at 75 yards, shyeah, that would be mighty impressive..... but not likely to happen anytime soon.

I am a victim of LASIK surgery gone bad (12 years ago), so I am left with my "good" eye seeing 20/30, the bad eye is 20/40, and no contacts/glasses will fix it. Doubtful I am going to lay down that kind of grouping at 225 feet with iron sights. Aggravating the problem is that I shoot right-handed, but the "good" eye is the left one. Of course.

Regardless, I am finding this XDm 9mm to be completely awesome.... very consistent, very dependable. I raced through 150 rounds at the range yesterday, nary a hiccup of any kind. Sweet.
