my first nice pistol

So just got a xdm 5.25 9mm
I have shot pistols a bit but never a nice one. I do alot of long range rifle shooting but this is a totally new game for me.
Was super excited today shot a 3 shot 3/4 inch group at 10 yards and also shot a 1.9 inch group at 25 yards.

My 10 shot group at 10 yards was under 2 inches! I was really excited. The only pistol I have shot that shoots this good is the ruger mark 3 22lr target pistol.

So much fun to shoot!

Congrats and sounds like you're a good shot! Glad you're enjoying that firearm, definitely one of the nicer ones on the market. I would however suggest a trigger job at the very least, makes a MAJOR difference and i've never heard one person say they liked the stock trigger over a PRP/SA trigger job (same kit made by PRP just sold by SA's Custom Shop. They use it on their carry package which i just got on my XD40 and added a SA Custom match barrel and had it fitted to my specific gun, and they did a great job on that! When my slide is locked back my barrel doesn't even move barely, compared to the stock barrel that moved forward/back and side/side.

Good to hear! I've only heard good things about the 5.25 model. If you exclude the 12 year old trolls!

Great job at the range and truly great gun my advice is start buying ammo.
