Friday at the range

My bestfriend and I went to the range together for the first time. I brought my xdm 9mm 5.25, and she brought her s&w 40 tact. The first two pics are of my first time shooting her gun at about 20 ft. The rest are me laying it down with my xdm. What a great day we had together and we got to meet some really nice guys who were full of useful info.

Thanks, I am picking up on it pretty quickly.

I was at the range twice last week and am going again this friday or Monday. (not to rub it in)

My first time shooting a .40 and 3rd shooting my 9mm. I have to admit I acted like a little school girl when I shot the .40 jumping up and down, naughty language, and a couple hell yeahs...I loved it and will probably be looking at a xd40 soon.

HAHA well glad that you had so much fun. Nice to see more women out there shooting. Too many of us ugly dudes at the range sometimes. lol

Yeah it is safe to say we stuck out like a sore thumb, but everybody was really nice and was open to help out if needed.

Most of us who have been shooting for awhile love to introduce new people to it, and help out others with less experience. It is one of the joys of firearms.

Well, being new I just want to say thank . I have yet to run into anybody that is arrogant or makes me feel like an idiot which is great when entering into something new.

Don't mention it. I would say the family of gun owners is one of the most tight knit out of any common interest group. Although we sometimes disagree about tactics, guns, etc... we all love the sport and/or self defense training and when push comes to shove we have eachothers backs. The only people I have ever had a problem with is employees at the gun store. Some of them think they are the end all be all haha. Welcome to the family!
