6th Time Shooting XDm Compact 9mm
7 yards, XDm Compact 9mm
I tried the "thumbs forward" grip today for the first time, after seeing the Magpul vid that was posted here. I'm very happy w/ the results, considering I shot a pistol for the first time 6 months ago.
4'' group and a 4.5" group, with one crazy flier between the 7 and 8 line.

Very nice shooting. I hve never figured out why there always has to be that one flier to mar up the beauty of it all. Oh well, it is what keeps us humble.

That 1 flier gives you an excuse for more range time.  I love my range time when I can afford it!
I like to throw a dummy round or snap cap in the mix to help with my fundamentals. Checks your recoil anticipation, follow through, trigger pull, etc. I'm sure you all knew that anyways!
Nice grouping BTW! Looks damn decent. Keep it up!
