Just when to the range today for more practice to get used to both guns. I purchased the XD first and then month later the M&P. At first I shot the M&P better but after a few more trips to the range I began to dial in the XD. I love the XD but at first I shot terrible with it. What I was doing, I was over gripping because of the grip safety. After I began gripping the pistol naturally I was 9 for 10 in the ten range. One problem I have sometimes is I am shooting low, I keep forgetting that the aim point is a six o' clock aim point. I will be using the XD in IDPA events. As you can tell the XD is the WINNER! Now the problem is which one to get next. I thinking of purchasing the XD45 compact it is like two guns in one. I could use it for CCW with the shorter mag and like a service with the Mag extention.
