Acronyms and general terminology used in the forums and general gun speak
I've been reading the forums for a few weeks now. I've been able to figure out some of the acronyms as I've read, but there are others that I am still unsure of. I am fairly new to guns and shooting, and I think it would be good to learn some of this information.
Are there any sites out there that list common terminology and acronyms used when discussing firearms? One that is specifically getting me is IWB. I see that a lot when people talk about carrying concealed, but I can't figure it out.

IWB = Inside Waist Band - A holster that is worn inside the pants.

I seem to remember someone starting an acronym thread - anyone know what happened to it?
BTW, IWB = Inside Waist Band (a holster worn inside the pants) as opposed to OWB = outside wasit band.

That might be something worth a sticky. I don't know just how many brand new shooters join these forums, but I would imagine that the number is pretty big. I'll do some more skimming through the forums and see if I can find anything
Thank you for the response!

This one's pretty handy--ammo-specific ones are at the bottom:

And welcome to the forum.
