 ive done this several times now and all i get is a red X. I cant figure out why it wont work!! very frustrating!

That's all I get when I try to follow instructions for photobucket. I'm using Chrome browser. When I use Explorer I get that damned red X. Totally lost on this image thing.
Now it works just to make me look like an idiot. I hate computers.

click on the User CP option on the menu bar atop the page. Then select Edit Avatar option on the left menu pane.

Go to your account. click on edit profile picture. Copy the link from you photobucket picture into the URL box.

Photobucket has changed some since this was written up, but the core is still the same. I use photobucket right now because XDTalk won't let me upload pictures to my photo gallery anymore. I've cleared history, cookies, and even switched browsers, among other things, but no luck. Even email admin, but they couldn't even figure it out.
