I have them on my HS2000 and my digi-camo 1911...they both get shot a bunch, but more so the 1911. I have never had a problem with them. I like that they are very visible for day time shooting and they are bright in low light conditions as well!

I don't know the stats about those that complain and those that are happy customers, but certainly (and unfortunately) we hear the complaints WAY more than we hear the compliments!

Anyone have any practical owners reviews of TruGlo TFO's that they would like to share?

Seriously considering these so I am looking to benefit from the experience of those who have gone before me.

Any opinions on fit, finish, form, function etc would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
I posted my issue with them see subject "Tru Glow TFO issue " for a recap. I am impatient and did not want to send to them or buy more so I bought the same color and diameter from Tru Glo's shotgun line of universal sights, cut it down with a high speed dremel- used a lighter and very carefully "polished" the end. I then slipped it in while warm and secured it with a little bit of epoxy. I found that the original fiber optic must not have been seated correctly as now it is a bit brighter without site picture blur or any other ill effects. It appears that it is 50/50 one who has issues or not (based on replies). To answer the question if I "love" them.. they are nice but a 90 day warranty on a fiber optic rod that has no moving parts or the tritium that is suppose to last years and years compared to other manufactures, may persuade me to not make a purchase again. They are nice, but they did not reinvent the wheel.

Being stubborn as I am, I did not give them a chance to replace them as they said they would. It would have just been better for them to send me the correct fiber optic instead of saying that even a gunsmith could not fix. So are they a bad company? not necessarily. I just did not like thier answer.

Yes I ruined my first set with gun scrubber. But they replaced them for free. Now I am very careful to keep solvent away from the sights.

Wow, thanks for the replies. Under a $100 shipped sound like a fair price for them?

All solvents? I get pretty liberal with the Breakfree CLP---so I expect a problem with that if I got the TFOs?

I have about 200rds through mine since the sights were installed. No issues yet. The sight picture is awesome. Even in the bright sun, you can see them clear as day. I could easily find my gun in the dark as well.
