If you wear it somewhere between the 2:00 to 3:00 position, the front clip might bother you. I trimmed the leather and shortened the clip on mine. You'll notice I also trimmed the leather around the rear clip. Once you find the right carry height and angle for you, it's easy to personalize the Supertuck.

I have an "original" supertuck adjustable....
I don't have my CCDW permit here in DE, so I can't speak from experience wearing it in public, but I'm a mountian biker myself, and I would imagine that this holster would be perfect for riding.
I wear mine at home while sitting at my drafting table for hours and hours, w/ my feet up on my footrest of my drafting chair. I literally forget that I'm wearing a holster AND a fully-loaded XD-9 service model. I wear it at about 2:30, and it's just fine!
I think you'll be fine with it for everything/anything you do. Try it and wear it 24/7 to figure things out, and if it's not good, send it back for a refund.
What do you have to lose?

Daily carry = XD-9 service in a Blackhawk CQC SERPA holster, a Spyderco Native, and a Streamlight Scorpion.

I am completely sold on Crossbreed holsters. They are very comfortable while sitting. You have, however, posed a very interesting question. I ride mountain bikes aggressively on technical trails. I always thought I should be packin' but thought the risk of the possibilities in the event of a wreck were too great. I trust my Supertuck to retain the gun during any normal activity and even somersaults, falling down, etc., but I am concerned about what might happen while doing a face plant over the bars. I have considered off body carry in my Camelback, but I would never be able to get to the gun in time anyway, and pepper spray seems to be a more practical option.
I am sure there would be some discomfort created by friction from the repetitive action of pedaling. In addition, I think the only usable position to wear the holster while riding would be just aft of the hip. The position of riding a mountain bike would almost certainly cause the butt of the pistol to print badly against your outer layer. (unless you have ape hangers)
Sorry to present only problems and no solutions, but I would like to know if anyone here has an answer for the biking question as well!!!!!!!!
Buy a Crossbreed holster anyway, they are the best I have found for all other circumstances. Be sure and pay attention to Mark's recommendation regarding Kiwi Leather Lotion. It keeps you from creaking like a saddle.

Sorry, slightly off-topic but yes, get a Camelbak Goblin. I always carry while mtb, riding fast, technical, you name it. It sits right under by Camelback I use for water.
Oh, and +1 on the CB ST IWB - I carry AIWB and it works quite well.

I don't understand why people pay more (sometimes twice the price of a Supertuck) for something that is "pretty" but less adjustable, less customizable and basically less conforming to your own personal carry needs. I suppose if I paid $150 for a holster I would have to rant about it.

Bycyclist,
Thanks for the tip. Had no clue Camelback even made that. The Demon looks interesting as well!!
Quite helpful mention, I appreciate your sharing!!
It's settled then!! Buy a Crossbreed and a Camelback Goblin/Demon!!

I love my supertuck; i've carried both my XD40 service and XD40 sub compact in it. It's more comfortable with the shortened grip on the sub compact (the 1" barrel difference is not noticeable).
I had to fiddle with the positioning to get it right (I'm a little, rotund perhaps?) but once I got the sweet spot (front clip just in front of the opening to my pocket on my Dockers) I can forget I'm packin' unless I feel it under my arm or when I sit down and forget I have a 2" extra on my right side.
