T. F. O.'s
I'm sure that this has been on here before, but I just need to know. I have the .45 ACP tactical. I want some good night sights. Do these fit the bill? Durable? Fit in the XD gear holster no problem?

In my opinion "yes" to all your questions. I have them on my XD45 Service and think they're great.

Thanks. Is $98 a good price? Not installed.

They are selling for about $90 around here. I paid $110 for mine a year ago. If you can afford $98 I'd say go for it. I think you're really going to like them.

These are one my short list for night sights, also. I've heard some rumblings about the design being vulnerable to damage from cleaning solvents--any truth to that?

I shoot (and clean) my pistol at least once a week and haven't experienced any problems with cleaning solvent.

I had my front rod pop out at the range.
I superglued it back in and I am very careful not to get Hoppes on the front sight.
I am not sure if it was the solvent or just use that made it come loose.
