iwb holsters for 45 service model

Ive been looking over holsters for ccw 45 service model. already have a shoulder holster but Im in FL and dont think Ill be wearing a jacket too much...

Lookin for a iwb holster. let me know your experiences with these, or add any you feel is a quality product.

Ive been lookin at the Galco inside the pant, Bromeland Maximum concealment, and the Bladetech UCH.

any insight is very appreciated.

Sidearmor! (www.sidearmor.com) I've had their XD IWB for almost a year and I forget that I'm wearing it. In fact, I actually walked outside to the mail box today without my vest on because I'm just unaware of the holster when I'm wearing it! Not illeagal, but it could make some people nervous, especially me if I had realized it half way there.

It's a good, solid kydex holster that's very concealable. I got the belt loops belt attachment to keep it from shifting angles on me. $65.00

Good luck.

I'm not certain which Galco IWB holster you're referring to. Can you enlighten me? I don't recall anything in the catalog that is IWB for XD.

plus thanks for all the input guys, I just wanna make sure I get one that I am pleased with...keep em comin if anyone sees something not mentioned...

I am also curious if there is a significant comfort difference between kydex holsters and leather.

I used to wear leather IWB, but with Kydex, it's a faster draw, easier reholster, and I like the C-T.A.C. because of the offset attachment points. I'm very anti "clip on the holster" IWB carry because the weapon is thick enough as is.

Besides, with a C-T.A.C. www.comp-tac.com or a Cross Breed Super Tuck, you can tuck your shirt in over the weapon and you hardly see the clips that attach to your belt. It just gives you another option of deep concealment. Plus it's very adjustable to whatever angle you want to carry it at.

Just shop around on the 'net and find something that looks like it will fit your needs. If it's a custom maker, they probably make for the XD in .45.

Some of the "minor" leather makers are cranking their product out in about 3 months ... the "majors" seem to be taking a lot longer. Be prepared for a wait, and be prepared to be impressed when the holster arrives.

I used to live in Wauchula, FL ... I know about humidity ... Kydex might be a good idea though I won't 'diss leather.

That K&D Holsters guy lives down your way ... I just got a leather and sharkskin OWB from him last month, wouldn't hurt to give him a call as I'm sure he can hook you up ...

Love my BladeTech slide for XDs, and only $39.95.
