Received my new Belt from thebeltman and Serpa from Quantico....waiting on crossbreed

My first gun belt and he did a Beutiful Job!! I almost didn't want to break it in! I ordered the Brown Bullhide with Nickel Buckle and it turned out real sharp. Jim was real helpful when I ordered and it took about 3.5 weeks....thanks beltman!!

It's my birthday so I ordered two holsters to go with it...the Blackhawk Serpa, and the CrossBreed Supertuck. Both for my XD45 Service. The Serpa I received from Quantico about two weeks after ordering. It comes with a paddle and a standard OWB hookup which your belt can thread through. After trying both I find the paddle more comfortable, more snug, and it will wear less on my beutiful new belt! Two questions for you veteran holster wearin' folk....1.Is there a trick to gettin her off?? It sure does get caught on all the little hooks and I don't want to loosen it up. 2. I'm a very lean guy 5'9" approx 155 so I never expected it to make my piece magically disappear but it looks like Im hiding a bowling ball in my back pocket!!!LOL

The CrossBreed has not arrived yet but I'll post a report as sson as I get her......To be continued

the Blackhawk Serpa isn't made for conceal carry. That hook at the bottom of the paddle... cut that S-O-B off! That little POS will really piss you off. I called it the Barney Fife hook. I now have no problems removing my Serpa holster. The two hooks for the belt are very tight and all you need.

Oh ya! The beltman belt (with stiffener is great). I bought the double layer 1 1/2 inch bullhide belt and have the black powder coated buckle. Holds my XD45 very nicely with the Serpa holster.

Mine does not have the stiffener option. Since it is my first belt I asked Jim what he thought when ordering and he thought I would do fine without it, based on my needs.

Shows integrity if you ask me, he could have talked me into 50 bux of add ons and being a newb I would have taken his suggestions. But now he has a repeat customer as well as a positive feedback post to boot.

Excellent post. I have a Rafters gunbelt and it didn't quite fit my needs. When I asked Rafters about a stiffener he acted insulted and came close to insulting me. I'll put my money on the Beltman over Rafters anyday.
