Do they make a BIG difference in shooting, or is it really just cosmetic?

Looking forward to the range so I can try them out!

Looks great, I just installed these on my XD 45 along with some Diamond Speed Sights. Seems to be a great set-up. Good pics. I have got to figure out how to load pics! Usually on my iPad.

How do you like the speed sights, I was checking those out the other day, distracting or clear sight picture?

They definitely do. My hand moves to much on the stock grip although not a lot to make me hate the stock grip. With these the gun 'sticks' in your hand and is more comfortable (to me). If it was cosmetic I wouldn't of even gotten them. I actually like the look of the stock grip.

Good looking firearm.
I did the exact same thing with my XD SC...cheap mods (the grip ext and the grip tape) and they made quite a bit of difference. I went with the rubber grips as well...when I first put them on I didn't like them, once I heated them up however and the tightened up, they look great.
