I originally purchased my M3x with a Xenon bulb and earlier this year I replaced the bezel and buld to LED that puts out 150 Lumens. The main difference between the M3 and the M3x the x has more seals for water usage and shock absorption. The X series were developed for SOCOM Special Forces units because the regular M3 were no able to work 100% time in Afghanistan and other hot spots around the world. I have used my M3x for duty and training courses and never had an issue. Just make sure to carry extra batteries.
