Shooting gloves

Does anyone like to use gloves when they shoot? I wear a pair made by safari but mainly to keep the GSR off my hands. Thoughts?

I do not like shooting with gloves on...but I practice with them on because I wear them at work during the winter months and its not like if I ever needed to draw my weapon, I could ask the bad guy to give me a second to take them off....

So normally I dont but I do just to make sure I can....

About the only time I wear gloves is when I hunt...usually, just a pair of thin deerskin gloves, or the mechanic's style gloves.

Sometimes when I'm shooting, I feel that since there's like a slip resistant material, it helps me keep better trigger control:confused. I'm hoping to start USPSA soon. Do they let you shoot with gloves?

Depends on what I'm shooting and training for. I never train handgun with gloves but I used to train AR with gloves. I shoot better with bare hands no matter what I'm shooting however I used to wear mechanix glove deployed so I trained with them on.

Same here. Not so much with a sidearm, but damn those hand guards on an M4 can get a bit toasty.

No gloves, except in the cold hunting! Even then my hunting gloves have a flip back for my trigger finger to be free...
