"Don's Striker Spring Guide" - anyone have one? Pictures?
I was looking at the "Don's Striker Spring Guide" and thought it might be a fun piece to swap out to do a little customizing to my XDm - but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the part and any pictures of it installed?
I did a search and came up with just about every thread with the word "striker" in it - which is a lot...

Great, thanks for the reply!
I was debating getting a blue one, but I wasn't sure how it would look in "real life situations" vs the picture from the website. I guess for the current price I can get a couple and see what I like the best
I just ordered my wife a slide cover plate engraved with a Pontiac Firebird logo for her Glock 19, and I was feeling kind of left out because I couldn't do something cool like that for my XDm.

I do, I installed one on both my XDs....takes about 2 mins to do and all you need is a punch or small screwdriver.
Got it from XD Guys and the worst thing was the poor fulfillment:
Don's Striker Spring Guide - XDGuys.com
Sorry for the bad image...I'm too lazy to snap one of the XD 45 with the red striker.

They are great. I've had one for 2years or so now. Never an issue. They don't take any kind of beating. The factory one is plastic, so the alum is going to be even better. While you are at it, you should order a S.S. guide rod too. Cheap and it does help felt recoil a bit.

I've read about the shipping problems with xdguys - but I guess it's worth the irritation

msiddens, does the red striker take your eyes away from the sights at all? I like the look of the red striker but didn't know if it would be distracting or not.
