I've heard great things about them. Don't expect them to be super precision sights. They're 100% combat sights.

I would not hesitate to put a pair on my XD. I have a set on my carry gun a g19. They are as noted not target sights. They are unbeatable for rapid target acquisition, moving targets and low light. From 10 feet to 20 yards they can't be beat.

I was going to ask the same question oddly enough. I have been looking for some sights for my XD 40 and found the XS sights. There is a video on youtube where the guy fires at ranges from 50 yards to 100 yards pretty accurately.
I wonder if there would be a benefit getting the standard size or the larger front sight?

I have a set on my Glock.... they are the XS Big Dots.... and I love them. VERY fast acquisition..... huge big green ball out there in reduced lighting, really like how fast it comes on target.
As mentioned earlier, they are not bulls eye / marksmanship sights by any means..... since the rear sight is more of a shallow "u" than a notch and the big front sight covers a lot of the target, shooting for points is a bit more difficult.... however, for "combat accurate" shots, they are outstanding. (IMO).

The distance that the sights excel are the same distances that I stop sight aiming and just point aim. I prefer regular partridge sights to these. I have used them and know plenty of other people that have at well, big Dot not small. Try running the sights on a course and running regular sights on a course. Go with what is faster.
