Never, huh?
As for the holster, hey, it's your funeral.

And just for the record, when the holster failed initially they were NOT trying to make it fail. You oughta stop reading stuff into it that isn't there.
It happened during an ECQB class and the holster that failed was the daily carry holster of one of the attending students. The class was run by a fella that goes by Southnarc on most of the forums. Paul Gomez was assisting instructor at that class.

OK, someone had a problem with a Serpa after rolling around on the ground with it pushing grit up into the release. If the same thing happened with an XD, say a rock or grit got stuck in the trigger safety one time making it unable to fire, would it make the XD a piece of sh1t and totally unreliable for everyone?

So if we apply Ian Wendt theories on the Serpa holster to the M16's in use in Iraq the M16 once it gets so dirty it won't shoot the troops should call them a bad weapon, throw them away cause they are a bad weapon and should be replaced with better weapons. Ya right...

I think the answer is to care for your gear and your gear will care for you.
