PRP Extreme grips

I've been looking for grips for my xdm .45. I saw the prp grips on another thread and looked them up. They have to options a sand texture and a rubber. Would like to hear if anyone has one or the other and what they think about them. I'm leaning toward the sand just because I would think the rubber ones would become hard to hold because of sweat... Any info would be great thanks

I just bought the sand version from PRP for my XDm 5.25, I love them. I don't think the rubber would be very good either.

How difficult would it be to remove these after installed? In case they don't feel like I want them too.

They aren't permanent so you can just pull them off and rub off all the sticky glue residue. In fact they will start to peel off after a moderate amount of use.

I installed my Sand Xtreme Grips today and they are great, glad i didn't get rubber. because the last grips i put on were rubber by Decal Grip, and they just didn't feel aggressive enough for my liking, and didn't work too well even with slightly sweaty hands (although PRP rubber could be different/ more aggressive). definatly would purchase the PRP's again, the grit of the sand feels perfect.

The texture feels great, excellent grip.

Definitely worth the money.

I have the rubber PRP's on my XDm 45, have run thru about 1K rounds since installing them, they are still as solidly in place as the day I installed them, sweating is no problem so far. I like them.

I just put the sand grips on my XDm. I cut the grips and modified them to conform and look better on the factory grips though.

I couldn't help but notice that those grips are for XDMs... And your pistol is a XD 40.... How well did they fit? *on the front part of the grip?

I might look into it later but for now I got a Hogue rubber grip for about $20 it slips on and adds. Note ADDs more thickness too the grip which I felt I needed and the finger bumps/grooves are spaced out more for my fingers (which I liked, reason I didn't like the glocks cause the finger grooves were too close together) soo far I really like the Hogue grip cause it adds that extra thickness I was looking for and the rubber material really is nice and helps.

I have had both the sand and the rubber PRP grips on my XDM's. Although the sand can not be beat for traction when sweaty, they will kill your holsters and your clothes and/or skin. I think that they are perfect for those sweaty summer sessions at the range. I prefer the rubber for carry and everyday use and comfort. I replaced the sand with the rubber on one of my guns and they peeled off easily with little residue.
