XDm 9mm compact 3.8 magazine getting ejected
Hello, so I have a question. I recently bought a springfield xdm 9mm 3.8 compact but I noticed if I put an empty 19 round mag in while the slide is back and push the slide release it will pop my mag out. Whats going on is there some defect with the magazine or the gun? Any info on why this is happening or what to do would be great!

make sure you push it in all the way , mine takes a real firm push . is it a factory mag ?

I 2nd this! They are a tight fit, especially with a full mag with the slide forward. You really have to slam them home or push hard.

yup , 13 round and a 19 round . you can buy the factory mags anywhere , local or online .

Don't remember experiencing this. Try subtracting a round from the mag (1  and see if she works.

This has never happened to me before. But like the above posts stated, just make sure you have firmly inserted the mag into it. It is harder to release the slide with an empty mag on most guns.
