Xdm precision grips

Should I go with black textured rubber or black sand prp grip kit? Any pros or cons that I should know of because currently once my hands sweat my xdm becomes slippery in the hands

I like the rubber slightly better for carry but the sand does feel a little better in the hands. Ive heard people on both sides with different companies and guns for the rubber vs sand. I would use the rubber for a carry gun and sand for a competition gun, right or wrong thats just me. Personal preference.

It's a home defense/rec. range gun so should I go rubber then?

+1 on the Talon grips, I've tried both and really like the Talons. I have them on my carry gun and on a Glock that I just picked up.

Another option, look into stippling. $10 soldering iron and have at it. I've got both my XD's done in that. Totally permanant now, but I personally dig the heck out of it.

Besides, plastic is somewhere in between sand and rubber on the feel-o-meter!

Talon or prp? Do the prp ones actually stick out past the plastic since they rest in the mold lines?

I have PRP grip tape on mine and I love it. No more slipping or sweaty hands at the range which was my main reason for choosing the grip tape over rubber. My Xdm is my home defense/rec/range gun.
