I said it in another thread and I'll say it here. You're not even a freaking VENDOR on this site. You have NO RIGHT to be STEALING ajames' business.

And he doesn't overcharge. If anything, he undercharges!

I've reported your posts.

Listen I am not attacking anyone but the forum has rules and in other threads Stimo has been informed of the rules about not advertising. If Stimo would like to contribute To the forum he can contact the Admin and become a forum sponsor and then he could advertise all he wants. If you are going to use the forum as an advertisement then contribute to the board. He is not offering a free service, you PM him for the price of the install. Read his multiple posts in multiple threads.

I do have a section in the sponsors area of the forum. And it is your choice to use me or not, or use any sponsor for that matter.

Stimo is not stealing anyones business, in fact I started almost the same way. Its not a guarantee I will get any business from any one here.
But there are at least 4 other great sponsors that also do the same job and we all contribute to the forum for the privilege. My deal is contribute to the forum and contact the owners and then we will welcome a brand new sponsor. This forum has been free to all users for over the last decade and it takes tons of money to run a forum such as this. The only way this forum we be here in another 10 years are the users who contribute, so it is only fair that if you make money off the forum you contribute to the forum (ugh I sounded like a Hippie didn't I). Trying to circumvent the rules by not showing a price for an install until you PM is still advertising. Its like the rule that you can not sell any thing in the trade section until you have so many posts. So you circumvent the rules by posting 30 times "cool" to a bunch of different threads.

Just to clear things up, i was offering "help" to fellow members, not "advertising." Advertising is where you try and persuade people to do something for financial gain in most cases, and that is not what i'm doing, i'm offering help. I have them PM me because if i did list a price for what it costs to ship and for my gas, then yes, that would be advertising since I'm listing prices, etc. But i didn't, and all i ask in return when someone PM's me is to cover the charges for shipping and gas, nothing else. So there's no financial gain, i was just offering help to people. I've done this on numerous forums and i've never had a problem with offering help to people, so that's fine i won't post anything public anymore until i become a vendor, if i choose to.

That's completely fine, i havent broken any rules so go right ahead. It's funny how when you offer others help, people jump down your neck for it that have nothing to do with the situation in the first place. And as a james said, I'm not stealing ANYONES business, they're free to go to whoever they want to get their sights installed.
I just thought it'd be nice to help out fellow members with changing sights since so many people do it, and i have the tool for it, i figured i'd offer my help for MUCH cheaper than a lot of others do, i never said ajames "overcharged," i said "a lot of people overcharge" for changing sights, which is why i figured if i offered to do it for free for people basically, those that charge too much would have to drop their prices in order to still make some money, and not be ripping people off in the process. And even then, they can still go to the person that charges more, so i don't see how I'm "stealing" any customers.

And stimo chill out ! James installs them for free if you buy them from him (pretty sure it's free because the cost + install + return shipping was less expensive then just the cost of TFO's at my lgs)

^ This.

You really need to tell us a little more about what you're looking for, AngryBaptistPreacher.

Why are you dis-satisfied with the factory sights? Is it not offering you enough daylight on either side, for precision work? Do you want a thinner front blade or do you want to open up the rears? Can you not see the front dot because it's too small? Do you want/need night-sights? Do you just want a rear that's less ramped, so that it can help more with single-handed manipulations?

These questions will help guide you to the sights that best fits your needs.

Me? ---> http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/xd-hs20...commended.html - three (3) sets of sights from Dawson Precision and James of XD-HS2000.com .
