Insight lights not for XD(M)
I thought everyone should hear this.
I put my several year old Insight M3 on my new 3.8 XDM compact 45. The result was my battery compartment door came off and broke the switch.
I contacted Insight and was told their lights do not fit XDM's due to a "change Springfield made in the rail system." However, they are sending me a new battery compartment door/switch for free. They said if this doesnt fix it they will have me ship it to them and they will repair the light.
Unhappy event but great service.
