With giddy excitement, and possibly an equal - or larger - dose of trepidation, I am
happy to announce that CamoPicker 1.0.1.0 is now availbale to the the general public.

In case you've forgotten, or just haven't heard about it yet, CamoPicker is a Windows
application that you can use to assist you in selecting camouflage paint to match your
environment. You take a picture (or use someone elses), load it into the program, and
with the click of a button, CamoPicker will match up to the 12 most dominant colors in
the photograph with colors in the selected paint system (like Duracoat).

I think hunters, airsoft, paintball, and more importantly troops that are about to be
deployed (or that have been already) can make use of this program.

The program is absolutely FREE TO USE, and the web site is here:

The web site is new, and the documentation isn't complete, but the program appears
to be stable and shouldn't give you too much trouble. I'll be updating the web page
pretty much every day to fill in the missing items, including providing a way for you
to contact me without having to use these forums. Here's a screen shot:

Wow. I'm seriously impressed with how far you've taken this in the short time since "got an idea today." Great job! I hope you can make some money from it!

This is a great idea, glad you executed. Maybe down the line you can make a little cash from a premium version. I also suggest an menu option for donations, I am sure those who find this helpful would be more than happy to donate.
