I saw that UpLula video before I was able to pick up my XD 40. I was super impressed at how easy it looked. When I got my XD 40, I tried the XD loader and didn't like it... it felt a bit awkward and seemed harder than the UpLula video. So I ordered an UpLula.

While waiting for it to arrive, I had to keep using the XD loader... and I got really good at using it!

When the UpLula arrived, I watch the video again and learned to use it... it's easy and fast... BUT required you to use a table or support to press down the magazine, and at an angle. Big negative! With the XD loader, you can load with both hands in the air w/out needing additional support.

So I decided to return the UpLula and stay with my XD loader... but not before i made another trip to the range where I rented a glock 23 and SW M&P 40. I only brought my XD loader, but neither the glock or M&P mag would fit! I had no problem loading the M&P mag with full 10 rounds by hand.. but the glock mag was TIGHT after getting 5-6 rounds in.

That's when I wish I had the UpLula! lol So now I've decided to keep it for use with other pistol mags. But for loading the XD, I'm staying with the XD loader!

Phil.

Does anyone know if you can buy the XD loader separately? I have the essential package and it didn't come with one. How much does it cost?

Looking on Amazon. I see a few Lula loader. $23 with free 2 day shipping. Is that how much the UpLula cost?

Thanks Phil, didn't notice the surface needed to reload at first. That is a sweet and fast reloader but I'm going to stick with factory one for now sinc all I have is the XD.

I needed a loader for my new Kal tec glock version sub 2000. So I order a uplula loader so it will work with both guns.

Much much faster than the factory one. Also, it comes in very handy if you or your friends have other non-XD pistols or different calibers. Worth every penny.

ABSOLUTELY! Just bought one today and at the range I loaded 10 mags and never once got that crossed bullet jam that often seemed to happen with the free loader. Money well spent.

Oh and you don't necessarily need to have it on a table. I tried it on my leg and against my stomach to see and it worked fine too.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never felt the need for any kind of reloader.
