The Heinies are fast for the daytime, the front vial the same size as the older Trijicons are with the white ring. The rear has a smaller dot. At night these are the same Trijicon vials so they glow the same brightness. Heinie makes a good product, but I have said a couple of times the Trijicons are the best combat sight made today.

Dawson also uses trijicon vials for their sights so the glow is the same brightness.

If you buy the HD`s I don`t think you will regret it, It is one of the only sights that I stand behind. If you buy these from me and I install them, you don't like them send the slide back and I will give you full credit and we can try something else.
Thanks for the quick reply sir. As soon as I'm ready you are def. the guy I'm sending my slide to (does the slide have to be disassembled itself?)... With that said, I am really leaning toward the Trijicon HD's, I just like the side profile of the Heinie's / Dawson's better... Logically I'd go with what offers a greater advantage in a combat situation though. Again, Thanks...

I just got mine back a few days ago and am soooo glad I used James. All you have to do is send the slide in. Also, I would talk to him before shipping the slide off. He has excellent Customer Service.
Another satisfied customer.....James installed them on my new gun last week and I got it back Monday. He contacted me numerous times through out the process by phone and email......Great Guy and thanks alot for the timely service.

Wish I'd seen this sooner. Mine went to Springfield. Ouch on the wallet. They were quick to get mine on and returned but unfortunately they were off. Way off, just like the factory sights my groups @ 7yds. were pattering 3" to the left. Come on Springfield, I love the gun and your fast service put can you be more accurate on the sighting?

That's likely your pull on the trigger. Mine did the exact same until I learned how to shoot correctly...

I sent my slide to Spring Field. Same thing I was shooting to the left. Went to lgs and they mover my sight over a bit. Now I'm dead on!!!! I just read the post above mine. I was smooth as I could be with my trigger pull. How do you fix a bad trigger finger?
