The process is called Hydrographics printing...also known as immersion printing.
You have to pre-treat what ever you want to apply the image to. Then float your printed film on a vat of water. An activator is applied to the film so it will disolve into a layer of floating ink. You them slowly dip the item being printed into the water and the ink layer will wrap and adhere to the item. Remove item from water and apply a top coat.
It is a pretty cool process.

I looked at this prior to painting my stock with some Krylon Camo and just was not brave enough to make the leap

The Red Burl Wood would look pretty cool for the Knoxx stock and fore end on my Mossberg...

I believe I saw them use this process on an episode of American Choppers, they did a camo print on some fenders & gas tank of a quad or dirt bike, can't remember...I'd like to try it on my Saiga 12

they did it on the Gander Mountain bike build, The bikes home is at my local Gander Mountain, I am not a big fan of camo but it looks good on the bike.-JOEYD
