New XD-40 4" Service Model Accessory Question
 

What is the best light, laser, or laser/light to put on my new XD-40 4" Service Model?

Probably the most popular choices will be:

*Streamlight TLR-1 (light)
*Streamlight TLR-2 (light/laser)
*Streamlight TLR-3 (compact light)
*Viridian C5L (light/laser)

There are many others for sure!

Also the Crimson Trace laser and (my personal favorite and next purchase for my firearm) the Lasermax guiderod laser.

i have a streamlight TLR-3 and it works great.

I've heard a lot of people say that the tlr-3 has had problems breaking at the rail guide when just hand tightening, and that it walks when shooting.

Tactical gangsta could definitely tell you how it's held up if he's taken it to the range.

i've only shot about 1 magazine with it on, haven't quite put it to the test yet.

The Viridian C5L works like a champ on my XDM 40 3.8. It has 5 different options for laser and light too. Pretty cool feature I haven't seen on other laser/light combos.

Does anyone have a holster for there pistol with light attached?

Spend your money on ammo or a conversion barrel and work on marksmanship skills?
