*sigh* The age old sight question..

Maaan(s).... I'm so torn as to which sights i should put on my XDM9. I want Accuracy, fast acquisition and conceal-ability. Is this to much to ask?

I read through this thing:
Iron sight - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pretty much no help lol.. Any suggestions on helping me pick the right sites? I know this has been asked before, probably even by me lol...

*sigh*, what to do, what to do...
If we had a good shop in town this wouldn't be to big of a deal but since i have to ship my gun off i feel like this is something i need to get right the first time.

Thanks guys!

I really like my meprolite 3-dot night sights. they work really well for me. Acquisition, and accuracy are much better than the stock sights, especially on follow up shots. as for concealability, they don't have much more of a profile than the stock sights, ao they disappear no problem when I carry.

Personally, I'd say look at Meprolite, Trijicon, and Tru-Glo (especially the TFO)

I was actually leaning pretty heavily toward the TFO, but i heard gun cleaning solution can mess them up... I take good care of my stuffs, but i like to avoid headaches also...

Has anyone else heard of cleaning solution screwing up the TFO's?

So, the standard 3 dot system is the best way to go in most cases? And the brightness of the TFO's assist with the acquisition I assume?

I have been running TFOs on all my XDs for over four years now with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend them

Yes...the front sight is brighter than the rear sight, actually.

+1

I have mepro's on my Kahr PM9. Love them. I'll get James to add them to both my XD9SC and XD40SC once I recover from Christmas (ie $$ at tax time).

Another vote for TFO's. Going on three trouble free years on the XD9sc. Have Mepro's, Trijicon's, and Dawson adjustable night sights on other gusn but TFO's are my favorite for XD's.
