CCW help

So I got the permit and got the supertuck for the XD9 service. I picked up a good stiff gun belt and it really help to bring the gun in closer. However its just not all that comfortable carry it around. Its quite heavy so my pants tend to sag on holster side a little. I don't know if a OWB holster would help or not. I do like how the supertuck conceals it does so really well. Or maybe its the gun being too heavy? I tried a subcompact in the holster and it conceals even more and gives up some weight but its not so noticeable to me. Any advice on how to make it comfy to carry and conceal really well? I wonder if I need a new gun. I think its the weight more than anything pulling down on the pants. I was wearing jeans and I tried khaki shorts. I thought about a Fobus paddle.

Play with where you carry (2, 3, 4, etc...) and play with the cant a lot. I thought I liked the way mine was setup until I decided to just play with it one night. I found a much better position. I carry at 3 'o clock, but I can't remember the cant.

Is the leather suppose to bend? The upper part in front of the first clip just sticks straight out leaving this gap between me and my pants. I played with it for a while.

Here are some pics. When the gun is in is pulls that side of my pants down a little. The pics failed to show the gap but that big peice of leather goes straight instead of curving.

Its the most concealable spot for the grip. I can go further up. I just don't like how it pulls my pants down on that one side. I look at pics of others and they don't seem to have that problem. The belt is stiff too just got it today.

Two things to try. Move the rig back a bit so that the logo lines up with the seam of your jeans. Think concave areas of your bone structure not convex areas. Concealment position and the fastest draw position are not always the same with every shooter. Adjust cant as needed.

Also, with all those extra holes on your belt, you might want to tighten up a little more.

I bought a 34 belt size and I can't get it any tighter than that without suffocating. Thats my usual size and I followed most gun belt instructions for proper size and I only get to the second hole. I guess I should have added 2 inches. Boy I got the feeling this is going to be expensive to get everything set right. I will try moving it back to the seem and see what happens.

That location is much better comfort wise! I also tightened the belt and that really helped with the pants sagging. I am not used to have a tight belt, I like to "relax" and let the pants hang on me...not sag but hang. I think if you want to carry you need things tight.

Yes sir it does need to be broken in I got in in four days from order and today is really the only day I got to really wear it. I am going to give it time in the new location I found thanks to knockdown. Also the sub feels better weight wise to me.
