Review: Uncle Mikes Sidekick
For those interested, the Uncle Mike's Sidekick in size 15 IWB holds a 4" XD9 beautifully, the slide pokes out the top less than an inch and the velcro thumbreak fits nicely over it. The holster is closed on the muzzle end for those who desire this feature and the outer material finish is smooth and comfy. Its got a plastic retention clip but it works fine for me, my only complaint is there is no cant, but hey, i spent $10 on it Used like new cond.
Thumbs up for a cheap carry option.

Another good use for the Uncle Mike's IWB.....Reviews of the holster offered by Maxpedition for use in their packs indicated that they were lacking. So I took a #16 Uncle Mike's, stuck some hook velcro on the side, and situated it in the CCW pouch of my Jumbo for appropriate orientation and access of my XD-40 service. It's flat and takes up almost no room when empty, and does a good job if I choose to CC with the Maxpedition Jumbo.

Uncle Mike's # 15 was my first holster for my XD and will most likely be my summer carry.

I have various Uncle Mike Holsters for various pistols....for the price then do the job just fine.

It is also perfect for all of you with a XDSC. I have the exact same holser w/o thumbreak, and use it daily for CC.
